The electromagnetic spectrum is made up of electromagnetic waves, which are coordinated oscillations of electric and magnetic fields. Electromagnetic radiation or electromagnetic waves are produced when an electric or magnetic field changes on a periodic basis. Different wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum are created depending on how this periodic shift happens and the amount of power generated. Electromagnetic waves move at the speed of light, typically abbreviated c, in a vacuum. The oscillations of the two fields are perpendicular to one another and to the direction of energy and wave propagation in homogeneous, isotropic media, generating a transverse wave. This book elucidates the concepts and innovative models around prospective developments with respect to electromagnetic waves and radiating systems. It talks in detail about the various concepts and theories related to this subject. It deals with electromagnetic analysis, electrostatics and magnetic field. It also explores flow of power, radiation and ground wave propagation. Most of the topics introduced in the book cover new techniques and the applications of this field. Through this book, we attempt to further enlighten the readers about the various concepts in this field. Coherent flow of topics, student-friendly language and extensive use of examples make this book an invaluable source of knowledge.
