About the Book

Signals and systems is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses analogue and digital signal processing, concepts that are at the core of contemporary communication and measurement. The fundamental principles of continuous-time and discrete-time signals in the time and frequency domains are evaluated in this field. From a more general viewpoint, systems are simply functions that have domain and range that are sets of functions of time (or sequences in time). It is traditional to use a fancier term such as operator or mapping in place of function, to describe such a situation. When one or more excitations or input signals are applied at one or more system inputs, the system produces one or more responses or output signals at its outputs. This book aims to shed light on some of the unexplored aspects of signals and systems. It provides the students with the recent information related to this subject. It is a valuable compilation of topics, ranging from the basic to the most complex theories and principles in this field which will be crucial for the holistic understanding of the subject matter. It deals with representation of periodic signals, fourier transforms and laplace transforms. It also explores sampling system realization and life cycle model. This book is meant for students who are looking for an elaborate reference on this area. It will perform as a self-instructed manual for all the readers about the subject that targets their interest in this field.
